Full-Time Veterinary Technician
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team. This individual will work with clients and pets one on one. They will be responsible for gathering histories from the pet owner, gathering vitals from the pet, putting in charges, starting medical notes, filling prescriptions, assisting the doctor in the room with examinations and other services, collecting and reading in house laboratory samples, collecting blood samples, placing IV catheters, taking radiographs, administering injections, monitoring surgery, anesthesia induction and recovery, stocking supplies, cleaning, caring for pets such as walking, feeding, supplying water, medicating, etc, providing client education, plus much more! Minimum 2 years experience required.
We are looking for a highly adaptable customer service professional who works well under pressure. The ideal candidate will make every person who walks through our doors feel like they are a part of our family and reassure the client's confidence and trust in our ability to take care of their pets. Duties will consist of answering phones, scheduling appointments, correspondence with clients, checking in clients for their appointments, verifying client demographics, checking out clients using the following transactions: credit card, cash, check, care credit, using copier, scanner, email, and fax machine, plus more.
